Terms of service
By using Scout you agree to these terms. They cover what the service does and the usual limits.

In short
Scout provides researched outbound openings from public sources. You own your offer, your sending, and your decisions; we provide the research layer, not guaranteed outcomes.
The service
Scout researches B2B accounts showing public buying signals and returns openings — the signal, source, a buyer path, a verified contact, and a first line. Outputs are informational and drawn from publicly available sources; verify before you act on them.
Acceptable use
- Use Scout lawfully and in compliance with applicable outreach and privacy rules.
- Do not resell or scrape the product, or attempt to breach its security.
- You are responsible for your outreach, messaging, and follow-up.
Samples and paid engagements
The free sample is provided as-is to demonstrate the service. Paid batches or ongoing feeds are governed by the order or agreement you sign with us, which prevails over these terms where they conflict.
No guarantee & limitation of liability
We work to keep research accurate and current, but we do not guarantee results, replies, or that every signal or contact is error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scout by X Consulting is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Intellectual property, changes & contact
Scout, its software, and its brand remain ours. Research outputs we deliver to you are yours to use for your outbound. We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the update. Your data is handled per our privacy policy. Questions? Reach us via the contact page.
